What Happens to the Miniatures after the Show?

When we are talking to visitors at the Flower Show, one common question is, “Do you keep these settings or get rid of them?” Some people keep all the settings they have ever made but that requires a lot of space (keep in mind that the boxes holding the displays are 36 inches wide, 22 inches deep, and up to 42 inches high). Some people take the content out of their boxes and reuse the frame each year.

This year, Ron Hoess took his display over to Brandywine Senior Living at Longwood, Kennett Square, PA. Here he is with Paola Fusaro,  executive director of Brandywine Senior Living, delivering the display.

Several of the other displays (including the Herbology Greenhouse at Hogwarts) will be exhibited at the First State Mini Club in Delaware, on Sunday, March 24. This is a fun and friendly show and a great introduction to miniatures. They have very interesting vendors and it is not as overwhelming as many of the large, national shows. Come see us there!
