Every miniaturist knows about the Thorne Rooms that are in the Art Institute of Chicago. The 68 rooms depict scenes from different historic periods and are beautifully constructed. They were displayed at the 1934 Chicago world’s fair as well as the 1939 New York fair. The Art Institute has developed a game that takes you through the rooms in search of clues. It is a fun way to connect the rooms. They call it the “Game of Thornes” (a takeoff of “Game of Thrones, the HBO series and the George R.R. Martin books). Worth checking out.

Gorgeous! Thanks for the link. 😉
