Nicole Cooley Article in The Atlantic

Nicole Cooley just had an article on dollhouses and miniatures published in The Atlantic (congrats, Nicole!). It is a thoughtful review of the different ways dollhouse, in particular, have been considered throughout their history. She mentions Darren Scala’s shop (I will discuss Darren’s new Squintbox venture in a future blog) and Kate Ünver’s popular site, The Daily Mini (which I will also be discussing in a future blog). And she quotes me with my favorite quote (which will form the basis of my Miniature Manifesto Part 3:

Miniatures are “not an escape from the real world but a way to engage, confront, question, critique, or consider it.”

More on that to come.
