Just when I was starting to get repetitive with the miniatures figures I was photographing on the beach each day, I came across a beautiful background with late-day lighting that provided me with these images. The last one reveals the setting!
…past and present, here and there
Nice!!
As a quilter and admirer of miniature settings, I wanted to share this blog post from quilting teacher Bonnie Hunter, who recently visited two Birmingham, AL, quilt guilds and conducted several quilting workshops. She took the time to visit several area places of interest, including the Ave Maria Grotto, which contains 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous and historic buildings and shrines of the world. Remarkable!!
